Event planning runs in my veins. In fact, it all started 7 years ago when I landed a job with IDEA Public Schools as the Administrative Assistant to Chief Operating Officer, Irma Munoz. My first task was to plan the biggest, the loudest, the best after party (ever!) of our All Staff Convocation. I was mortified! With the help of my friend and former Marketing Director, I was able to execute successfully. I learned to live by my detailed project plans which included every single task, owner, and due date. Ever since, I have planned a myriad of events from small corporate events to BIG events like IDEA's infamous COLLEGE SIGNING DAY which has had up to 18,000 students, staff and families in attendance.
